MTHFR Support Australia now offers MTHFR gene testing, carried out by integrative and functional pathology centre NutriPath.

The Buccal Swab gene test requires no doctor’s referral or visit to a pathology centre to draw blood, it simply requires a swab of the inside of the cheek and so its ideal for babies, children and those afraid of needles.

Once purchased you will receive a link via email. Please click on the link and send the request form to both Nutripath and MTHFR Support Australia. You will then be sent the kit, collect the sample and send it back in the postage-paid return postage slip. We will then send you your results as soon as they are completed. Remember if you do not click on the link, your test cannot be sent.

It is a 100% safe and reliable method for discovering your MTHFR gene result.

Testing Instructions

Once purchased you will receive a link via email. Please click on the link and send the request form to both Nutripath and MTHFR Support Australia. You will then be sent the kit, collect the sample and send it back in the return postage slip. (Two way courier postage is covered by the Shipment Charges). We will then send you your results as soon as they are completed. Remember if you do not click on the link, your test cannot be sent.

It is a 100% safe and reliable method for discovering your MTHFR gene result.

1. Click on the links in your email to download the request form and the instructions. Open it and save each file to your desktop before editing the one with the form.
2. Enter your personal details on the electronic form, double check they are correct, and the ‘MTHFR Buccal Swab’ test is listed/ selected.
3. Save the form to your desktop again.
4. Attach the form to an email and send to NutriPath directly via info@nutripath.com.au
5. NutriPath will send your test kit and return postage envelope within 5 - 7 business days.
6. Complete the test as per NutriPath's instructions included in the testing kit.
7. Send your sample back to NutriPath using the pre-paid return postage slip from NutiPath.
8. Once NutriPath receives your kit, results take 7 - 10 days to generate, and will be forwarded to MTHFR Support Australia via email.
9. We will then forward these results to you via email for your records.

General Testing Information:

• National (Australian) customers have all postage costs included in the Shipment Charges (Courier postage of test kit to your address, and return of completed test kit to NutriPath for testing).
• As the sample has an expiry/ validity of 30 days, all samples are to be returned via priority shipping to NutriPath, and must arrive within a 25 - 30 day period of completion to avoid having to retake the test (at full cost to the customer).
